Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced IS Solution Architect – Workplace Security to drive the design, governance, and evolution of secure workplace solutions across Spain and Portugal. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong security governance capabilities and focuses on protecting endpoints, identities, collaboration platforms, and corporate data while enabling a modern, compliant, and user-centric workplace environment.

 

What you do:

  • Define and maintain Workplace Security Architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures; drive Zero Trust adoption across workplace technologies and services.
  • Design secure solutions for endpoint protection, device management, and remote access; govern security controls across Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and workplace services.
  • Ensure secure integration of identity services including Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and SSO; lead data protection initiatives including DLP and Information Protection.
  • Develop and maintain workplace security policies, standards, and technical baselines; support risk assessments, exception management, and architecture review processes.
  • Act as trusted security advisor to IT, Architecture, Risk, and Business teams; present security architectures, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

 

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Workplace Security, Endpoint Security, EUC Security, or Information Security Architecture.
  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale workplace security solutions, preferably in large, multi-country environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne (EDR/XDR); Microsoft Intune and UEM/MDM solutions; Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access; Microsoft 365 Security, Purview, DLP, Defender for Office 365.
  • Experience with Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, and secure remote access architectures; Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, and Application Control.
  • Experience with Security Governance, Architecture Review Boards, Risk Management, and Policy Development; familiarity with DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and GDPR.
  • Fluent English (mandatory); Spanish and/or Portuguese highly preferred.
  • Preferred: CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA or equivalent certifications; Microsoft Security Certifications (SC-300, MD-102, MS-102); experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or highly regulated industries.
