Role Overview
As Regional Hub Manager, you drive operational excellence and the strategic development of Travel Management across your region. You optimize travel services, platforms, and supplier partnerships, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group policies, sustainability goals, and financial targets. Leveraging AI, automation, and data-driven insights, you continuously improve processes, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency. With responsibility for regional P&L, reporting, and stakeholder management, you lead innovation and deliver measurable business value.
What you do
- Lead and optimize the regional travel platform and TMC partnership, ensuring high adoption, compliance, service quality, and seamless system integration.
- Manage onboarding of Allianz entities and continuously improve user experience and platform performance.
- Develop and execute the regional travel strategy aligned with Allianz policies and transformation goals.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and AI-enabled improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Build business cases and lead digital innovation across the travel ecosystem
- Own travel data, reporting, and performance analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage regional travel budgets, P&L, KPI tracking, and sustainability (CO₂) reporting.
- Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, forecasts, and executive reporting.
- Serve as the key travel management contact for Allianz entities within the region.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and manage supplier performance, compliance, and escalations.
- Foster collaboration with global teams and regional counterparts.
- Lead regional travel projects and transformation initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-functional and multi-country teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive onboarding of new Allianz entities and develop business cases supporting growth and investment decisions.
What you bring
- Solid foundation in corporate travel management — 5+ years of professional experience in corporate travel management, procurement, or a related field within a multinational organization is essential.
- Equally important for this role, however, are the attributes described below: a forward-thinking, business-development-oriented mindset, learning agility, and a consulting approach to problem-solving that drives real commercial outcomes.
- Proven track record of managing travel programs at regional or global scale, including TMC relationships, platform implementations, and policy enforcement.
- Experience in cost center management, P&L responsibility, and budget planning within a corporate environment.
- Background in delivering or contributing to sustainability and environmental reporting (e.g., Scope 3 CO₂ emissions from business travel) is a strong advantage.
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Tourism Management, or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
