Role Overview
The TPRM Team Lead (m/f/d) will be responsible for managing the delivery organization in Spain that provides Third Party Risk Management services to Allianz entities globally, with direct delivery responsibilities for a key client entity. The role oversees a team that may include team leads, TPRM experts, and senior experts, adjusts team capacity and skills to demand, and ensures day-to-day service delivery, while personally performing TPRM officer tasks for a relevant Allianz entity to maintain a strong, hands-on connection with client work.
What you do:
Service Delivery
- Service Delivery Management of TPRM as a service delivered from the Spain hub to Allianz entities across the Group (SLAs, quality, capacity).
- Incident and problem management for the service.
- Execution of test strategy, quality checklists, and reporting metrics for entities served, in line with global Digital Resilience standards.
- Perform TPRM officer activities (e.g., third-party risk assessments, due diligence reviews, ongoing monitoring) for a designated Allianz entity.
Team & People Management
- Direct management of a team comprising TPRM experts, senior experts, and potentially team leads, depending on final team structure.
- Adjust team capacity, structure, and skills to match evolving service demand.
- Resource planning, skills development, and performance management across the team.
- Building a culture of integrity, excellence, and continuous improvement within the organisation.
Alignment with Global Service Line
- Coordinate with the global Digital Resilience on governance framework, policies, and methodology.
- Escalate and coordinate contract change requirements and regulatory changes with the Global Service Line.
Tooling & Continuous Improvement
- Operate and maintain proficiency in relevant TPRM tools (e.g., ORGS, ServiceNow, SAP Ariba) as defined by the global service line.
- Identify automation and data quality improvement opportunities and feed them into the global roadmap.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Represent the Spain hub's TPRM delivery team in relevant governance and coordination forums.
What you bring:
- Degree in Economics, Business, Law, IT, Risk Management, or Finance, with 8 to 10 years of experience in audit, finance, operational risk, IT, regulatory, or related business line activities.
- Proven hands-on experience delivering TPRM assessments, reviews, or audits directly to clients or stakeholders, not only managing others who do so.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of specialists/experts; experience managing team leads or multi-layer structures is a plus.
- Experience in a shared services, delivery center, or financial services environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of TPRM/operational risk frameworks and regulatory context (e.g., DORA).
- High fluency in English, written and spoken.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work in international, virtual teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ORGS/ServiceNow is a plus.
- Experience interacting with colleagues in a multinational environment.
