Role Overview

As a Senior Leasing Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the successful leasing and economic optimization of our commercial real estate portfolio. Your objective is to sustainably reduce vacancies, secure stable rental income, and enhance the long-term value of the properties

In addition to that the Senior Leasing manager (m/f/d) actively contributes to execution capital expenditures,the financial and ESG performance of a property portfolio, creating and implementing business plans for existing investments as well as preparing and presenting strategic recommendations for Investment Committees. The individual will holistically look after asset management activities with strong focus on leasing activities and works closely with Team Head AM Berlin and the Head of AM Germany & Austria.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for all leasing activities across your dedicate commercial property portfolio
  • Development, implementation, and execution of property-, leasing-, and letting strategies
  • Acquisition of new tenants as well as professional management and development of existing tenant relationships
  • Active exchange with all relevant market players such as brokers, consultants and architects
  • Coordination of the creation and implementation of marketing strategies including leasing materials
  • Leading offer and contract negotiations – from rental terms, lease durations, and incentives through to the conclusion of lease agreements in coordination with legal advisors
  • Conducting market analyses to optimize space utilization and identify competitive advantages
  • Maintenance of internal databases as well as preparation of leasing reports, KPIs, and relevant performance metrics
  • Close cross-functional collaboration with Asset Management, Development, Legal, and others
  • Asset performance responsability for a dedicated portfolio
  • Active role in the creation of the annual business planning for the responsible properties
  • Closel collaboration with investment team in order to ensure good practices and latest knowledge are included in a “Buy Manage Sell” process; support preparing hold /sell analysis papers, refinancing and other relevant documents for the relevant stakeholder                                                                                                         
  • Creation and control of the decision models for committees and sponsors                   
  • Become an expert in internal systems, tools and schedules in order to deliver product on time and as per local or investment requirements     

 

                      

Key Requirements

  • University degree with strong academic background, with additional training in real estate management
  • At least 7 years’ professional experience in a comparable position
  • Confident, professional negotiation style with strong closing capabilities
  • Strong local real estate network
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset, structured working style, and high numerical affinity
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and Inventory-managing systems (Argus, SAP, Filenet)
  • Support innovation and digitalization initiatives
  • Strong spoken and written English skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team, entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality
  • Above-average commitment and persistence in carrying out projects in a transformational environment
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant property markets and contacts in the relevant markets
