Strategic Operations Lead

Role Purpose

As Strategic Operations Lead, you serve as a key strategic partner to the Head of Operations. You drive operational priorities, coordinate transversal initiatives, and integrate customer and market insights into operational decision making. You ensure alignment between Operations and central support functions while contributing to operational excellence and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Partner to the Head of Operations

• Support the definition and execution of the operational strategy

• Support the Head of Operations in daily operational management

• Prepare and structure decision materials for strategic topics

• Represent Operations as a delegate in selected forums

• Drive prioritisation across operational initiatives

Cross Functional Coordination

Act as the central operational interface for:

• Quality and Customer Experience

• Compliance and Risk Management

• Data Analytics

• Strategic and transformation programs

• Ensure alignment, transparency, and execution focus across these areas.

Customer and Market Perspective

• Integrate customer and market insights into operational improvements • Translate analytics and feedback into actionable measures • Promote a pragmatic test and learn mindset

Transformation and Project Leadership

• Lead or co lead high impact transversal initiatives

 • Define milestones and success indicators

• Ensure implementation and measurable outcomes

Profile

Education and Experience

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a comparable field

• Experience in a complex cross functional environment, such as operations, consulting, transformation or analytical marketing

• Proven experience in stakeholder coordination or team leadership

• Strong analytical and structured thinking

• Solid understanding of operational environments 

• Sound project management skills

• User and customer centric mindset

• High level of autonomy and reliability

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Languages

• German fluent

 • English fluent

• French is an advantage
