Salary Information
Pay: Circa £50,000 per year
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
As our P&C Underwriter, you’ll:
- Underwrite Property and Casualty risks within your authority, supporting the delivery of profitable growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers to support retention and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of business, ensuring consistent underwriting discipline and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with colleagues and internal teams to deliver efficient, client-focused solutions.
- Engage with brokers through regular communication and meetings to strengthen partnerships and market presence.
- Provide timely and professional responses to broker and client enquiries.
Essential skills
- Solid experience underwriting Property and Casualty risks
- Experience handling mid-range or complex cases within authority levels
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective broker relationships
