We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join our creative team at the world’s largest insurer, supporting communications for our Commercial insurance business.
As one of our key trading areas, this team forms the heartbeat of our business and they present a great opportunity to tell the stories of how we help our customers every day. Technical or insurance knowledge isn’t necessary; we’re looking for an expert generalist who can translate complex ideas and make them suitable for a variety of audiences.
This role is focussed on internal communications but we welcome applications from people with experience in external communications and marketing too.
About You
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, creative communications campaigns, working closely with your Communications Business Partner, External Communications, and key stakeholders within the Commercial function. As part of a Group spanning 70+ countries, you’ll be part of a global conversation, leveraging the benefits and career progression opportunities that come with this.
You’ll transform key messages into compelling content and use data and performance frameworks to monitor how they land with the audience, making improvements accordingly.
As this involves working across a complex area, we’re looking for someone with great organisation, ability to prioritise effectively, and excellent stakeholder management. You’ll use communications to build trust and engagement within our internal population, give our leaders a voice that resonates with their teams, and showcase the stories that translate the Allianz purpose: “we secure your future”.
Location: This is a hybrid role with an expectation to come to the office regularly. It can be based out of our London, Guildford, Bournemouth or Bristol offices.
Salary Information
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
Essential Skills
- Audience-led planning, especially for digital internal communications
- Experience using digital platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Viva Engage)
- Multimedia skills (video creation/editing) would be a bonus
