Financial Crime Best Practice Coordinator

Role Description
The purpose of this role is to lead the development of best practice across all of fraud and financial crime teams, to ensure that the department can deliver its plan in an efficient and compliant manner.
Support for the fraud operational teams will include ensuring the team's industry knowledge and skills are developed in line with the continuously changing market and advancing technologies. The role will also ensure adherence to Company procedures and regulatory requirements
You can be based from any of our UK offices and will be required to travel to each office. This role can also be home based (with travel).
Salary Information
Pay: Circa £40,000
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Builds strong relationships and influence across the organisation to ensure all business plans are met.
- Is a technical subject matter expert in respective specialism, able to use knowledge and experience to guide others.
- Represents Allianz within the wider industry attending conference and seminars.
- Supports Senior Management, participating in the production of annual business plans.
Essential Skills
- Sound knowledge of the work, creating a relationship with team built on respect.
- Ability to build and maintain an effective network across the business and wider industry.
- Awareness of market developments that affect own area with the ability to initiate change to compliment.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Able to influence change within own team and wider business.
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Sound technical understanding of the business unit being led as well as wider stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge in chosen specialism; able to guide, inform and influence others.
- Proven ability to influence and persuade; guiding key stakeholders, suppliers and senior management.
