Application Maintenance Specialist (m/f/d)

About the Job

As a Senior Professional Application Maintenance Specialist at Allianz Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance and continuous improvement of our applications in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. Your role will involve coordinating incident resolution, communicating with stakeholders and implementing changes that directly impact the efficiency and satisfaction of our customers in the Central and Eastern European market.

What you do

• Act as the main contact person for questions related to application maintenance and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
• Monitor application performance and availability in CEE, proactively troubleshooting and managing incidents to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Support cross-functional teams in implementing application changes, updates and enhancements, ensuring they are aligned with the unique needs of the CEE market.
• Maintain detailed documentation of application configurations, changes and maintenance activities relevant to the Central and Eastern European region.
• Support the integration of new applications and optimize functionality. Participate in regular reviews of application performance indicators and propose improvements to enhance the user experience for CEE customers.
• Lead project teams to implement strategic changes and mentor junior team members,  supporting their development.
• Ensure that applications comply with the latest technological trends and market requirements, including regular updates and improvements as well as handling other tasks according to the supervisor's instructions.

What you bring

• Around 5+ years of expertise on a similar role.
• Strong understanding of application maintenance processes, standards, and best practices, with specific knowledge of Allianz Technology products in the CEE region.
• Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for application improvements tailored to the CEE market.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant work experience in application maintenance, support, or related disciplines, with experience in an international working environment being desirable.
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use is a plus, particularly in enhancing applications for the CEE region.

• For our location in Slovakia, the minimum salary range for this position starts from EUR 2.700 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
