About the Job
As the Commercial Service Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial lifecycle for a defined portfolio of IT services in the CEE region. You combine financial discipline with stakeholder partnership, acting as the trusted commercial counterpart to the IT function while contributing to the development of junior team members.
What you do
- Assume full commercial end-to-end responsibility for an assigned portfolio of IT services, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and targets.
- Serve as the primary contact for commercial matters within your scope, liaising between business units and financial stakeholders.
- Drive forecast, planning, and pricing activities for your portfolio to maximize profitability and efficiency.
- Conduct monthly tracking of projects and services at a transactional level, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure operational input for financial closing processes, including internal commentary and accruals/provisions whilst also supporting the IT function in the setup of new services and projects, providing guidance on commercial considerations.
- Coach CSMs on day-to-day operational tasks and review their work where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes and contribute to ongoing optimization initiatives.
What you bring
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a comparable field with 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial service management, IT controlling, or a similar role with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of services or projects.
- Strong command of financial planning, forecasting, and pricing concepts; confident with cost and revenue controlling at service level.
- Advanced Excel skills and solid working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP/financial systems; experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) is a plus.
- Track record of working independently with business and finance stakeholders, translating between technical and commercial perspectives.
- First experience in guiding or mentoring colleagues, with the confidence to review work and give constructive feedback.
- Strong communication skills in English; additional CEE-region languages are an advantage.
- Proactivity in owning the topics, positive team spirit, and reliability in delivering high quality are essentials.
- Basic knowledge in AI technologies, principles and their practical use.

For our location in Slovakia, the minimum salary range for this position starts from EUR 2.700 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
