SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

About the Job

We are looking for an ABAP Developer to further strengthen our development team within the Financial Asset Management Solutions department. The role primarily involves SAP ABAP implementation with a strong focus on SAP treasury modules (TRM, FI, BP).

At Allianz, the SAP IMA (Investment Management and Accounting) platform is used for comprehensive investment management and financial transaction processing. Within SAP IMA we manage the entire lifecycle of financial instruments including securities, loans and mortgages, foreign exchange transactions and derivatives in the subledger. Over the next few years, our department's work will focus on further international rollout of SAP IMA, as well as enhancing solutions for Allianz entities that already use it.

We are currently working on the SAP S/4HANA conversion, which will evolve the use of new SAP technologies such as FIORI, Joule, and BTP (Business Technology Platform).

What you do

• Further strengthen our international developer team and participate throughout the entire software development process – analysis, design, implementation, test, run and support of our existing SAP IMA system landscape.
• Advise our global customers on all matters relating to investment accounting, with a particular focus on SAP TRM (Treasury and Risk Management).
• Implement custom tailored interfaces that connect external platforms to SAP IMA as well as to drive innovative solutions across SAP RISE and S/4HANA, including emerging SAP BTP and AI-driven capabilities.
• Support international projects, post-go-live activities, and taking on incident and change request management.

What you bring

• Studies in business informatics, computer science, comparable fields of study or comparable IT training (IT specialist in application development).
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in and deep understanding of SAP ABAP development (classic and object-oriented). Knowledge about financial instruments and investment management would be a strong plus.
• Knowledge of SAP enhancements (User Exits, BAdI and BAPI) and interface implementation based on Web Services, REST API, OData, Filetransfer (SFTP).
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment. High level of customer focus, combined with independent working methods, initiative, personal responsibility and very good communication skills.
• English language proficiency at least at the B2 level.
• Desired qualifications: Understanding of SAP TRM and FI modules (including customizing) and their related business processes. SAP FIORI, AI/Joule and SAP BTP experiences. Experience in Python programming.
• Familiarity with Machine learning is a strong advantage.

• For our location in Slovakia, the minimum salary range for this position starts from EUR 3100 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
