About the Role

As a Claims Consultant, you’ll assess travel insurance claims end-to-end, ensuring every decision is compliant, consistent, and customer-focused. You’ll contribute to a high-performing team while supporting continuous improvements in how we leverage data, insights, and evolving tools to enhance the claims experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Assess and manage travel insurance claims across a range of scenarios
  • Deliver timely, fair, and accurate outcomes aligned to policy and compliance guidelines
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication to customers throughout the claims journey
  • Collaborate with internal teams including medical assistance and teleclaims
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a strong team culture
  • Contribute to performance outcomes including quality, turnaround, and completion rates

What You Bring

  • Experience in insurance claims, ideally with exposure to complex cases
  • Strong ability to interpret policy wording and apply sound judgement
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation
  • Comfort working in a digitally enabled environment, using systems and insights to drive decisions
  • Interest in evolving tools and ways of working that enhance efficiency and accuracy
