About the Role
As a Claims Consultant, you’ll assess travel insurance claims end-to-end, ensuring every decision is compliant, consistent, and customer-focused. You’ll contribute to a high-performing team while supporting continuous improvements in how we leverage data, insights, and evolving tools to enhance the claims experience.
What You’ll Do
- Assess and manage travel insurance claims across a range of scenarios
- Deliver timely, fair, and accurate outcomes aligned to policy and compliance guidelines
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to customers throughout the claims journey
- Collaborate with internal teams including medical assistance and teleclaims
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes
- Mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to a strong team culture
- Contribute to performance outcomes including quality, turnaround, and completion rates
What You Bring
- Experience in insurance claims, ideally with exposure to complex cases
- Strong ability to interpret policy wording and apply sound judgement
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation
- Comfort working in a digitally enabled environment, using systems and insights to drive decisions
- Interest in evolving tools and ways of working that enhance efficiency and accuracy
