Why this role matters
As a Claims Consultant in our Travel team, you’ll play a key role in delivering fair and timely claim outcomes. You’ll combine your expertise with a practical, solutions-focused approach, using available systems, insights, and team knowledge to make consistent and well-informed decisions.
You’ll also contribute to how we refine and improve the way we work, ensuring we continue to enhance both customer outcomes and team performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Assess a broad range of travel insurance claims with accuracy, fairness, and efficiency
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers throughout the claims process
- Interpret policy wording and apply guidelines to support consistent decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to ongoing enhancements
- Support and mentor team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including medical and teleclaims
- Use systems and available insights to manage workload effectively and support quality outcomes

- Comfortable working with changing priorities, processes, and tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to getting things right
Claims & Technical Expertise
- Experience interpreting insurance policies and assessing claims
- Sound judgment and analytical thinking to support fair outcomes
- Exposure to complex or non-routine claims is highly regarded
- A proactive approach to learning and improving how work is done
