About the role
- Steer the end-to-end performance and insights capability for the Consumer Direct business, ensuring a cohesive and strategically aligned approach to performance management and decision-making
- Implement and maintain a single source of truth for portfolio and operational performance reporting, including a monthly insights pack highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging hotspots across the value chain.
- Design, deliver and continuously enhance dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs to strengthen visibility and drive improved performance across Direct teams.
- Identify performance risks and improvement opportunities, triggering targeted interventions and ensuring timely action to improve business and customer outcomes.
- Provide structured analysis and insights to support leadership team forums, deep dives, operational governance, and broader business decision-making.
- Own and optimise Verint Speech Analytics and Real-Time Agent Assist platforms, ensuring effective, secure and compliant operation, maximising the value of customer interaction data.
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and robust performance governance across the Direct function to support reliable and actionable insights.
- Embed a culture of evidence-based decision making and strong data literacy, monitoring performance outcomes against targets and holding stakeholders accountable for agreed actions.
About You
- Experience leading a business performance, analytics or operational insights function within a complex or multi-channel environment within Insurance or Financial Services.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and relevant industry accreditations would be an advantage.
- Proven experience translating data and analytics into actionable business insights that influence senior leadership decision making and drive performance.
- Strong experience managing performance reporting frameworks, dashboards and KPI governance, including oversight of analytics platforms (e.g. Verint or similar speech/interaction analytics tools)
- Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge, influence and drive accountability across operational and leadership teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
