About the Role

The Executive Coordinator – Strategy & Projects plays a critical role in supporting the Strategy Director (SD) and the Australian Strategy & Development Office. This position acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, helping to drive execution of the Allianz Partners strategic agenda.

You will operate at a senior level, partnering across Australian, regional, and global teams, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key interface for the Strategy Director, liaising with senior stakeholders across Allianz entities, including global and regional teams
  • Support and lead strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Drive execution by ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs across strategic programs
  • Develop and review high-quality presentations, reports, briefings, and analysis, including materials for CEO-level engagement
  • Monitor and communicate priority changes, risks, and roadblocks to the Strategy Director
  • Serve as the gatekeeper of the SD’s office, managing information flow and priorities
  • Prepare materials for Board and Executive Committee meetings
  • Attend key meetings on behalf of or alongside the SD, ensuring follow-through on actions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professional integrity in all interactions
  • Actively communicate strategic priorities and progress across the organisation
  • Operate with high autonomy, sound judgment, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business, consulting, or a related field
  • Experience within insurance or assistance services (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management within complex, matrix organisations
  • Proven capability in strategy development, planning, and execution
  • Strong experience influencing senior stakeholders and managing competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Highly structured approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Experience producing high-quality deliverables under time constraints
  • Strong analytical capability, including financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI dashboards
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel essential)
  • High levels of curiosity, learning agility, and critical thinking
