Are you an Emergency Department Registered Nurse ready to take your clinical expertise beyond the hospital? As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Assistance team at Allianz Partners, you will support travellers experiencing medical emergencies worldwide — coordinating care across borders, managing evacuations, and making critical decisions in real time. Based in Brisbane and working a 24/7 rotating roster, you will be part of a globally connected team that combines clinical expertise with modern case management tools to deliver life-changing assistance when it matters most. What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end medical assistance cases with a focus on emergency and evacuation scenarios, coordinating care for travellers worldwide
  • Provide telephonic clinical advice to travellers experiencing health concerns abroad
  • Assess medical reports and coordinate with global healthcare providers to ensure appropriate and timely care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights and weekends, as part of a structured shift schedule
  • Maintain accurate, detailed case documentation using digital case management systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and digitally enabled workflows

 

What You'll Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Emergency Room (ED/ER) experience — mandatory
  • Right to work full-time in Australia — mandatory
  • Advanced Life Support certification (ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, or APLS highly regarded)
  • Confident, clear communicator — both verbally and in writing — with a professional and empathetic telephone manner
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong clinical judgement with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (minimum 2 days per week in the Brisbane office)
