Are you an experienced trade or builder network specialist looking to take the next step in your career? Allianz Partners is seeking a dynamic Trade Manager – Home Networks to oversee and grow our network of building and trade partners supporting Insurance Repairs across Australia.

This is a pivotal role focused on performance management, relationship building, contract oversight, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.


About the Role

As a Trade Manager within our Home Networks team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of building and trade partners, ensuring KPIs are consistently met across timelines, cost, scope accuracy, and customer service.
You’ll play a key role in strengthening partner relationships, improving performance, and expanding the network as demand evolves.


Key Responsibilities

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Represent Allianz Partners with professionalism across all interactions—written, phone and face‑to‑face.
  • Resolve complaints with a solutions-focused, win/win approach.
  • Deliver seamless service to customers and client organisations.
  • Attend monthly performance meetings with key clients and action improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and uphold Work Health & Safety (WHS) expectations with all network partners.
  • Manage partner contracts in alignment with the Home and Easy Living Contract Management Framework.

Workload Leadership

  • Provide transparent updates on workload status.
  • Remain agile in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Apply strong time‑management and organisational skills.

What You Bring

Provider & Supplier Management

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in builder or trade procurement, supplier management, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles.

Property Claims Knowledge

  • Solid customer focus with resilience and drive.
  • Experience delivering high-level service to internal and external stakeholders.

Problem Solving & Decision Making

  • Confident decision-maker able to act quickly and implement solutions effectively.

Communication & Relationship Skills

  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Background in property claims or desktop assessing (advantageous).
  • Understanding of WHS requirements within the building industry.
  • Contract and vendor management expertise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Negotiate pricing and scoping with builders and trades in line with Home Network strategy.
  • Monitor industry pricing and repair costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate billing and payment processes.
  • Deliver outcomes aligned with Allianz People Attributes.

Repair Management

  • Review claim validity, claim circumstances and cost containment opportunities.
  • Provide coaching to builders on reporting and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure service levels are consistently met.
  • Implement cost savings where appropriate.
