We're seeking a commercially minded Validator to join our Home Networks team and play a critical role in ensuring repair scopes, pricing, quality, and partner performance deliver the best outcomes for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator, Desktop Assessor, Insurance Repair Specialist, Building Supervisor, or Trade Professional looking to leverage their expertise in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Validator, you'll act as the technical and commercial gatekeeper across our network of builders and trade partners. You'll be responsible for validating scopes, controlling costs, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring network performance aligns with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Validating repair scopes, methodologies, estimates, and pricing

✅ Negotiating repair costs with builders and trade partners

✅ Leveraging data insights and benchmarking to support cost containment and decision-making

✅ Reviewing reports, photos, quotes, and documentation for quality and accuracy

✅ Monitoring builder performance against KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, and customer outcomes

✅ Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and process optimisation

✅ Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across claims, operations, suppliers, and customers

✅ Supporting Work Health & Safety compliance across the network

✅ Driving customer-centric outcomes while balancing repair quality, cycle times, and cost management

What We're Looking For

You are a commercially astute professional who enjoys solving complex problems and using evidence-based decision-making to achieve better outcomes.

You'll bring:

• Trade qualification (Carpentry highly regarded)
• Building estimating, validation, or desktop assessing experience
• Insurance repairs or property claims experience
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and residential repairs
• Proven cost control and negotiation capability
• Experience reviewing scopes of work, quotes, and repair estimates
• Knowledge of WHS requirements within the building industry
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Points If You Have

• Insurance building or property claims experience
• Experience working within supplier or contractor networks
• Knowledge of estimating platforms and digital assessment tools
• Exposure to performance analytics and reporting
• Experience driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
