In this pivotal position, you'll focus on P&C insurance risk, leveraging your strong actuarial background to optimize risk and capital management strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft strategies that boost risk and capital management, profitability, and regulatory compliance. Allianz Benelux recently opted to implement a full Solvency II Internal Model and initiated the regulatory Internal Model Approval Process. We Count on You For:

 

  • Model Development: Develop and parameterize models within the Allianz Group internal model framework, ensuring effective governance and collaboration with intra-company expert teams.
  • Risk Capital Calculation: Calculate Risk Capital for P&C Underwriting Risks with Internal Model and Standard Formula.
  • Business Steering: Translate risk capital results into strategic business decisions, including product approvals and reinsurance optimization.
  • Cross-Department Interaction: Collaborate with Business, Corporate Actuarial, Accounting, and Reinsurance departments.
  • CAT Accumulation Management: Support and improve P&C CAT Accumulation Management and Climate Change Risk assessments.
  • Reporting Contribution: Contribute to internal and external reporting, including ORSA, RSR, SFCR and stress tests.

 

What We Look For

 

We are seeking a candidate with at least a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Econometrics, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years relevant experience in Non-Life actuarial or insurance risk management. Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is essential. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Dutch and/or French preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will interact with various departments and senior management.
