Head of AI Strategy & Transformation

We're looking for a Head of AI Strategy & Transformation to define and drive the enterprise AI agenda for Allianz Benelux. In this leadership role, you'll ensure Artificial Intelligence becomes a true engine for business performance, operational excellence, and innovation — not just a technology experiment.

Reporting to the Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer, you'll own the AI strategy and operating model, lead our AI Transformation Program, and take AI from ambition to measurable impact. You'll be the bridge between business priorities and AI capabilities — and the voice of Allianz Benelux in Group-wide AI discussions.

Your Responsibilities?

• AI Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the enterprise AI strategy, translating vision into a prioritized roadmap that drives measurable business value.
• AI Transformation Program: Lead organization-wide AI adoption, literacy, change management, and capability building to embed AI into how we work.
• AI Product Portfolio: Own the full lifecycle of AI products — from use case discovery and business case development to industrialization, scaling, and value realization.
• Group Alignment: Act as the primary interface with Allianz Group and Allianz Tech, ensuring strategic alignment while championing Benelux priorities.
• Responsible AI & Governance: Ensure all AI initiatives comply with EU AI Act, data privacy requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
• Cross-functional Delivery: Coordinate Business, IT, Data, Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to deliver AI solutions efficiently and at scale.
• Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Monitor AI market trends, evaluate new capabilities, and identify opportunities to accelerate experimentation and influence the Group roadmap.
• AI-enabled Ways of Working: Embed AI assistants and autonomous agents into business processes, supporting leaders in redesigning operations for the AI era.

Your Profile?

You are a senior AI leader with proven experience defining and executing enterprise AI strategies and leading large-scale transformation programs. You've driven AI adoption across multiple business functions and delivered AI products that created measurable value — whether in productivity, customer experience, operational efficiency, or risk management.

You excel at working cross-functionally, aligning Business, IT, Data, and Risk teams around shared objectives. You've engaged Executive Committees to shape AI roadmaps, secure sponsorship, and communicate AI's business impact. You're equally comfortable presenting to the Board and rolling up your sleeves with delivery teams.

You bring experience in a multinational environment, collaborating with shared technology organizations or centers of excellence to balance local priorities with enterprise standards.

You hold a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Additional certifications in AI, Generative AI, or Digital Transformation are a strong asset. You are fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is considered a strong asset.
