As the Head of IT Governance, Operations & Value Steering at Allianz Benelux, you will oversee IT governance, operations performance, and value steering to ensure alignment between IT activities and business objectives. You will manage governance, financial steering, and operational oversight across key domains such as IT Economics, Demand Management, Risk & Compliance, Identity & Access Management, and IT Operations.

 

This role is ideal for an experienced IT leader with a strong background in governance, strategy, and operational performance, who thrives in a dynamic, regulated environment and is ready to make a meaningful impact.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee and continuously improve the IT governance framework, ensuring compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure the overall performance of IT Operations, focusing on service stability, availability, and quality. Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and service performance metrics.
  • Manage IT spend across run and change activities, ensuring cost transparency and alignment with organizational goals. Drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Define and implement IT Demand Management processes, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, strategic alignment, and capacity.
  • Provide an integrated view of IT performance across cost, risk, demand, and operations, supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights.
  • Define IAM governance, policies, and control frameworks to ensure secure and compliant access to IT systems and data.

 

Your Profile
You are a seasoned IT professional with a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and proven leadership experience.

 

  • Deep knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) and expertise in risk management, data security, and compliance (e.g., DORA, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001).
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT management, strategy, and governance roles, with 3+ years of leadership experience and over 5 years in IT-related positions.
  • Strong project management, communication, and change management skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field, with a solid understanding of business processes and IT technology development.
