Allianz Bot Engineering Ambitions
Insurance customers expectations towards interaction with their insurance service provider are rising. Multi-channel access via phone or chat, 7/24 service availability, state of the art AI driven self-services and professional call centre agent support on demand are key customer experience drivers. Allianz is looking for bot engineering talents to create conversational AI solutions for customer interaction
Role overview
TA Bot Solution Engineer understands customer needs, balancing state of the art AI solution capabilities to design, develop, and implements AI-powered conversational interfaces including voicebots and chatbots that enhance customer experiences, automate routine interactions, and deliver personalized service across digital channels and voice platforms.
What you do:
- Analyze customer and business needs, evaluate AI capabilities of conversational AI solution to design conversational flows and dialogue structures for voicebots and chatbots also applying generative AI prompt engineering scripts. Develop and implement NLP (Natural Language Processing) models and intent recognition systems.
- Build, test, and deploy chatbot solutions across web, mobile, and social messaging platforms
- Configure and customize voicebot interactions for IVR and telephony systems
- Integrate bots with backend systems, APIs, and databases (CRM, knowledge bases, etc.)
- Create and maintain training datasets for bot learning and improvement
- Implement sentiment analysis and contextual understanding capabilities
- Develop fallback strategies and human handoff protocols
- Monitor bot performance and continuously optimize conversation accuracy
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and contact center teams
Design & Development
- Analyze customer and business requirements to design conversational flows and dialogue structures for chatbots and voicebots.
- Apply generative AI prompt-engineering techniques to enhance conversational accuracy and personalization.
- Develop and implement NLP/NLU models, including intent classification and entity extraction.
- Build, test, and deploy chatbot solutions across web, mobile, and social messaging platforms.
- Configure and customize voicebot interactions for IVR and telephony environments.
Integration & Data
- Integrate conversational bots with backend systems, APIs, and databases (CRM, knowledge bases, etc.).
- Create, curate, and maintain training datasets to continuously improve bot performance.
- Implement sentiment analysis, contextual understanding, and adaptive conversation capabilities.
Quality & Optimization
- Define fallback strategies, escalation flows, and human handoff protocols.
- Monitor bot performance using analytics tools and continuously optimize for accuracy, speed, and user satisfaction.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of conversational interfaces across platforms.
Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and contact center teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure scalable, high-quality AI-enabled journeys.

Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU platforms and conversational AI frameworks.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
- Experience with API integration.
- Knowledge of voice processing technologies (ASR, TTS, DTMF).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of testing and debugging techniques for conversational and voice interfaces.
You have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related technical field
- 2+ years’ experience developing conversational AI applications
- Demonstrated experience with at least one major bot development platform
- Portfolio of successful bot implementations
- Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and applications in customer service
