Role Overview:
Allianz Services, delivers services aligned with the global Digital Resilience Service Line to ensure that Allianz Group can effectively anticipate, manage, and respond to disruptions affecting business operations (IT and Non-IT), employees, and physical assets.
A key pillar of this effort is Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). As regulatory expectations continue to increase—particularly through frameworks such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)—Allianz is strengthening its TPRM capabilities and building a TPRM Lifecycle Service delivered by Allianz Services.
We are looking for an experienced leader who will establish, lead, and continuously develop the global TPRM managed service. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading the TPRM team, shaping the service model, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality lifecycle services to Allianz entities worldwide. This role combines strategic leadership, service management, and deep expertise in third-party risk and outsourcing governance.
What you do:
- Lead and manage the global TPRM service and team, ensuring high-quality delivery of Third Party Risk Management services across Allianz entities.
- Define and continuously evolve the TPRM “Service as a Service” model, ensuring scalability, operational excellence, and strong governance.
- Establish and develop the TPRM operating model, including roles, processes, service delivery standards, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Drive the continuous improvement and maturity of the TPRM framework and processes across the organization.
- Oversee the delivery of the full Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding of third parties.
- Ensure consistent and effective implementation of the Allianz Third Party Risk Management and Outsourcing policies.
- Supervise risk and control assessments (RCA) for third-party service providers across the lifecycle.
- Ensure a robust and transparent inventory of outsourcing and third-party arrangements, including supporting risk documentation.
- Act as the central governance function for TPRM, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group standards and regulatory requirements such as DORA.
- Provide expert guidance and advisory on complex third-party risk topics to senior stakeholders.
- Conduct and oversee TPRM maturity assessments and drive improvements in collaboration with Risk, Legal, Data Privacy, Procurement, and Information Security.
- Ensure strong quality assurance and control oversight across the TPRM processes.
- Ensure efficient operational delivery of TPRM lifecycle activities, including coordination with internal teams and external service providers.
- Provide escalation management and expert support for complex risk issues.
- Drive standardization, automation, and operational efficiency within the TPRM service delivery model.
- Establish and oversee TPRM reporting and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Lead the preparation of TPRM assurance and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to TPRM and outsourcing.
- Build strong relationships with global stakeholders across Allianz entities, ensuring alignment and transparency in third-party risk management.
What you bring:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Outsourcing Governance, Vendor Management, Procurement, or Risk Management.
- Proven experience in leading teams or managing complex service delivery environments.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to outsourcing and operational resilience (e.g., DORA, VAIT, financial sector regulations).
- Experience in building or managing risk management frameworks or managed services is a strong advantage.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with GRC tools such as OpenPages, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is a plus.
