Your role

 

Are you a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional with strong German language skills and a passion for process excellence? Join Allianz Partners in Romania as a Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist, working in a hybrid model as part of our international Procurement and Networks team. In this role, you will help maintain a nationwide, reliable, and qualified network of service providers, serving as a key point of contact for external partners and contributing to the digitization and continuous improvement of procurement processes. You will work at the intersection of supplier management, data analytics, and process automation, in a versatile, cross-functional environment that will challenge and develop both your organizational and communication skills.

 

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Digitize existing procurement processes and continuously optimize them using AI technologies and automation tools, driving efficiency across the team
  • Actively contribute to and drive forward strategic procurement projects, supporting the team's broader goals
  • Implement and further develop quality assurance measures to ensure the highest standards of service partner performance
  • Prepare data-driven analyses, presentations, and process documentation to support decision-making and reporting
  • Assist external service providers in using the billing system, ensuring smooth and professional partner onboarding and ongoing support
  • Manage the team inbox and respond to email inquiries from external partners professionally and in a timely manner
  • Serve as the first point of contact for telephone inquiries from external partners, providing clear, confident, and solution-oriented support
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools, applying insights responsibly and in line with Allianz standards for data governance, security, and ethical use

 

 

What You'll Bring

 

  • A completed degree or commercial/technical vocational training in a relevant field
  • Fluent German (C1 or above) - essential for daily communication with German-speaking service providers and partners
  • Very good English skills (written and spoken, B2 or above) - required for internal collaboration across international teams
  • Strong MS Office skills and a genuine affinity for IT systems and digital tools
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with strong attention to detail
  • Confident and professional communication skills, both on the phone and in written correspondence
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset - you enjoy working as part of a team and supporting external partners effectively
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate with teams across different countries and time zones
  • Experience with procurement, vendor management, or supplier coordination is an advantage but not required — we value the right mindset and a willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools, process automation platforms, or data analytics tools is a plus
