Job role

The Agile Master is responsible for proactive monitoring and ensuring high quality across the service.  Should take responsibility for coaching and facilitating the work of cross-functional Agile teams. He / she creates stable and self-organized teams with a clear and engaging direction and helps identifying and resolving impediments. He / she is accountable for successfully assessing teams’ needs and provide a suitable Agile approach in addition to providing Agile consultation services to the customer or management upon request.

What you will do

 

  • Supporting multiple squads in their daily activities, acting as a Senior Agile Master and servant leader
  • Removing organizational, environmental, and mindset-related impediments to protect team progress and ensure sustainable delivery flow
  • Coaching teams, the business or the product owner in self-organization, cross-functionality, Agile principles, and continuous improvement practices
  • Driving the delivery of high-value, high-quality outcomes by fostering accountability, ownership, and product mindset within teams
  • Creating a psychologically safe, collaborative, and high-performing team environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning
  • Facilitating and continuously improving Agile ceremonies (e.g., Daily, Sprint Planning, Review, Retrospective, Backlog Refinement)
  • Coaching and supporting the Product Owner in backlog prioritization, refinement, and value maximization
  • Leading and coaching teams in the adoption and scaling of Agile ways of working across squads and organizational units
  • Collaborating with other Agile Masters and Agile Coaches to align standards, share best practices, and drive Agile maturity
  • Enabling delivery excellence by improving predictability, transparency, and flow, rather than directly managing delivery
  • Supporting release planning and removing blockers impacting delivery timelines and dependencies
  • Acting as a bridge between teams, stakeholders, and leadership, ensuring alignment and clear communication
  • Driving Agile transformation initiatives and contributing to improving organizational Agile maturity
  • Supporting the transition from project-based delivery to product / line organization models

What you bring

 

 

  • Strong Agile mindset with deep understanding of Agile frameworks, tools, and methodologies
  • Advanced critical thinking skills, based on observation, experience, analysis, and structured reasoning
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in IT / project management / ITSM environments
  • Proven experience as Scrum Master / Agile Master / Agile Coach (min. 4+ years)
  • Strong understanding of delivery metrics, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement practices
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management (especially Service Operation & Service Transition)
  • Familiarity with Allianz ITSM tools, processes, and governance frameworks (nice to have)
  • Experience working in international and cross-functional environments (incl. offshore collaboration)
  • Proficiency with Office 365, JIRA, Confluence
  • Strong personal drive, adaptability, and ability to influence and drive change at multiple levels
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Financial background and/or knowledge is a plus (asset classes)

You have

  • Extensive experience in Agile practices, transformation, change management, and/or consultancy environments
  • Strong experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
  • Proven ability in: coaching and mentoring, facilitation and conflict management, team building and collaboration enablement
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to engage, influence, and align stakeholders across all organizational levels but mostly C-level
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong
  • Strong facilitation and servant leadership capabilities
  • Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe or similar)
  • University degree, preferably in Information Technology or related field
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • German language skills are an advantage
