Job role
Directly supporting the Lead for Governance & Safeguarding in Allianz Technology, you will act as the data privacy & safeguarding subject matter expert on processes and procedures, ensuring the global implementation of and compliance with the Data Privacy & Safeguarding principles for Allianz Technology People, Culture & Sustainability Function.

What you will do
Act as a single point of contact for People, Culture & Sustainability function (PCS) towards the Data Privacy Officer; Manage the Data Privacy Assessments (DPA) process for PCS activities, including initiating both Data Register Assessment and Privacy Impact Assessments processes; Advise Information Owners on privacy-related matters; Coordinate responses to Data Subject Rights requests and advise Information Owners on necessary actions Manage and coordinate DPAs and/or other PCS function agreements Ensure contractual compliance with data privacy requirements Support AI systems and use case registration for business owners Ensure AI initiatives comply with relevant privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards Review and vet corporate rules as required Advise and collaborate with local DPO (Data Privacy Officers)/DPP (Data Privacy Professionals) and AI Trust Officer on business-related matters; Act as liaison between DPO/DPP and Personal Data Incident Owner and the Information Owner and provide support in handling any such incidents, subject access requests and complaints should they arise; Support DPO/DPP in the deployment & delivery of Data Privacy & AI awareness campaigns and trainings to the PCS function; Establish any necessary checks/ procedures to ensure the Allianz Privacy Standards are being adhered to in the area Ensuring performance of the legal and/ or regulatory monitoring process for PCS area Support and coordinate Third-Party Risk Management activities and other safeguarding activities for the PCS function in alignment with Procurement; Coordinate document management activities and ensure compliance with information and data management standards and retention periods Support Business Continuity Management processes, ensuring business continuity plans are maintained and tested Conduct and coordinate Fit-Gap Assessments to identify compliance gaps and drive remediation actions Coordinate Data Privacy Champions’ Community in PCS area
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Legal or Economics, or similar Minimum 3 years (corporate) business experience Interest in Data Privacy is a must; experience in Data Privacy (& associated management tools) highly desirable Experience in an international working environment highly desirable Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages (e.g. German) are a bonus Competency in MS Office suite and basal competency in current AI tooling, also from a data privacy perspective We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.

Solid communication skills (written/ spoken) to different hierarchies, incl. excellent presentation skills (in person and virtual); Ability to simplify complex topics also for non-experts, manage various interests and steer discussions to a desired end; Ability to work independently as well as engaging with various stakeholders in virtual teams across various continents and cultures; Active discussion and collaboration partner for service providers as part of the value chain, ensuring good vendor relations, continuous improvement and smooth service delivery; Strong analytical and problem solving skills, hands on mentality with capability to deliver results; People management/ leadership experienced advantageous; Good assertiveness and organizational skills, capable of dealing with multiple priorities.
