Data Reporting Specialist: SQL & PowerBI Developer (m/f/d)

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Expert and SQL Developer to join our Allianz Technology Access Control Team to support Central IAM Reporting, which is used to ensure compliance of IAM in Allianz Group in alignment with regulations and internal policies.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and customizing reports within the Central IAM Reporting (IAM CR) solution based on PowerBI. It is pivotal in enhancing data accessibility and providing actionable insights for our Operational Entities through the consolidation of IAM-related data from our standard IAM tools.

As the Power BI Expert and SQL Developer, you will play a critical role in the assurance of the compliance of our customer and our IAM services.

What you do

• Report Development and Maintenance in PowerBI: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards based on IAM data and ensure the solution's integration with multiple data sources, proficiency in API and other connectivity methods.
• SQL Database Management: Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract data from IAM databases for reporting purposes. Maintain and update SQL databases to support dynamic reporting needs. Administrate the database to ensure data integrity and security.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze IAM data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic initiatives and daily operations.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the IAM team and other stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions. Provide technical support and guidance to users of the IAM CR platform. Assist in onboarding new users and entities to the IAM CR solution.
• Audit and Compliance: Ensure reports meet audit requirements and support compliance and governance efforts. Be able to build documentation for the reports being built.

What you bring

• Proven experience in Power BI report development and SQL database management.
• A high degree of professionalism, professional curiosity and skepticism, organizational, analytical and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in an international team across multiple locations with global stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of experience in IAM technology-related areas, understanding of identity and access management concepts and tools, Experience in IAM tools such as One Identity Manager or Data Factory is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is a strong advantage.
