 Job role 

As an Enterprise Project Manager – Transformation, you will be part of AllianzGI's Enterprise Project Management (EPM) function, acting as an internal consulting partner for strategic business and technology transformation initiatives across the Asset Management value chain. You will play a key role in shaping and implementing Operations Strategy and Target Operating Models (TOMs), ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving sustainable organizational change. 

Working in a global and highly collaborative environment, you will lead large-scale transformation programs and complex cross-functional projects, partnering with stakeholders from Operations, Investments, Data & Technology, Product, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Client functions. 

What you will do  

  • Lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, from strategy definition and business case preparation through implementation and value realization. 

  • Develop and enhance Target Operating Models (TOMs) that improve operational efficiency, scalability, and business performance. 

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into practical operating, process, data, and technology solutions. 

  • Manage complex projects and transformation programs across multiple functions, geographies, and stakeholder groups. 

  • Drive organizational change by aligning business, operational, and technology priorities with strategic objectives. 

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and implement innovative operational and technology-enabled solutions. 

  • Ensure project delivery within agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality parameters while proactively managing risks and dependencies. 

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including technology providers, custodians, administrators, and business partners. 

  • Prepare project plans, business cases, budget forecasts, governance materials, and executive-level reporting. 

  • Promote continuous improvement by optimizing processes, workflows, operating models, and data management capabilities. 

 

 What you bring  

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 

  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, IT consulting, transformation management, or Asset Management organizations. 

  • Proven experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, strategic programs, and complex projects in international environments. 

  • Strong understanding of operating model design, business process transformation, and organizational change management. 

  • Experience managing waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies. 

  • Exposure to software development initiatives and technology-enabled transformations. 

  • Good knowledge of project financials, budgeting, business case development, and vendor selection processes (RFI/RFP). 

  • Understanding of the Investment Management industry and its operational, regulatory, and technology landscape. 

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizational structures. 

  • Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are considered an advantage.
