Job role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our IT services team in managing and optimizing financial processes. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including revenue and cost planning, financial controlling, forecasting, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency in alignment with organizational goals.

 

What you will do

  • Provide support for revenue and cost planning, including maintenance, internal and external labor, pre-products, and service providers.
  • Conduct revenue and cost controlling, including plan vs. actual analysis.
  • Good understanding of profit and loss evaluations, forecasting for costs and revenues.
  • Manage spend tracking, including budget oversight, invoice handling, timesheet approvals.
  • Service provider consumption monitoring, and goods receipt and provisions.
  • Support billing processes by resolving disputes (root cause analysis, error correction, credit notes, and back charging).
  • Ensuring data quality improvements (e.g., CMDB, assets) to enhance billing and cost accuracy.
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports, analyses, and respond to specific requests.
  • Assisting with audits, benchmarking, and financial calculations for service managers.
  • Support project financials, including RFS, budget approvals, cost controlling, and PPM package management.
  • Handle license management, including inventory, maintenance extensions, and new investments.
  • Collaborate and align with stakeholders, including customers, controllers, pricing teams, and account managers, on financial topics and processes.
  • Manage external resources, vendor relationships, and the end-to-end PO creation process. 

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent financial expertise (e.g., cost calculations, cost types, depreciation).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar financial role.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP CO is a plus.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
