Job role
We are hiring a talented Financial Reporting Analyst to join our team in Bucharest office. The role is part of Bucharest Financial Hub which provide finance related services to various Allianz entities around the globe. In this role you will offer support to the controlling team of Allianz Holding Eins (the regional Holding of Allianz responsible for managing the business of the eastern European countries for Allianz). The role involves the re-design of the current reporting process, templates and tools for a particular sales channel as well as consolidation, computation, financial analysis and reporting of insurance products.
What you will do
- Re-design, optimize and automate the current reporting process, templates and tools
- Drive conceptual change and further improvement/ development of the reporting process, templates and tool
- Prepare reports on all insurance business sold via bank assurance partners of Allianz in CEE region, focus on conducting a product and financial reporting for all insurance business sold via our main bank assurance partner
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports to different stakeholders which have clearly defined deadlines (including analysis and data aggregation of the sales/ products)
- Reporting process-steps include:
- input collection and validation in discussion with local business units
- preparation, aggregation of results and the creation of the final reports, analysis (e.g. comparing previous months/plan/forecast/actual sales), submission of reports to different stakeholders
- Consolidate Financial planning for OE’s main bank assurance partner for Central and Eastern Europe
- Populate the impairment testing model for a particular sales related intangible asset
- Take full responsibility for other tasks and projects in general financial controlling area including collection, critical analysis and presentation of results
- Take full ownership of the cooperation with OEs and other stakeholders and ensure quality of information and communication received and submitted
- Analyze completeness and plausibility of information and identify the mismatches
- Contact the OEs in case sales or product details as amounts or quantities should be adjusted or clarified
- Fully align the process and deliverables with regional stakeholders and OE controlling departments
What you bring
- Strong academic background (preferably Accounting, Business Administration, Economic or similar
- Working experience of 3-5 years as a proven specialist in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent Knowledge in MS Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Basic knowledge in SAP system and other data bases
- Fluent English written and spoken
