Job role

 

The role is in AZ Technology BMP Program team which is responsible for governance and commercial management of Business Master Platform (BMP). The financial service manager will work closely with the division head and collaborate across all BMP stakeholder group: finance functions, service owners, account managers and customers. They will specifically but not exclusively support BMP governance and financial activities and will take an active role in shaping the team’s communication.  

 

What you will do

 

Governance

• Manage BMP internal approvals e.g. PPC, SPM, BoM including documentation creation and management of relevant workflows

• Track relevant BMP contracts and liaise with Contract Management and Procurement to ensure full compliance

• Advise BMP service owners and project managers in key governance processes

• Liaise with Service Portfolio Management to ensure all BMP services are approved and have up to date service descriptions

• Provide program status reports as required

 

Financial activities

• Plan budget BMP Program profit center and, in liaison with controlling, monitor spend

• Prepare and update financial forecasts on a regular basis

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for future financial planning.

• Support planning activities across BMP products: collaborate with various departments to gather necessary data and ensure budget accuracy

• Together with pricing experts manage BMP revenue planning and monitor revenue stream throughout the year, especially revenue risks

• In liaison with controlling, report BMP KPIs and P&L

Commercial activities

• Liaise with Procurement to ensure that BMP program supplier contracts are created and signed in a timely manner, including PO creations and approvals. 

• Manage OE expert contribution contracts and work with Accounting and the Verticals to obtain all necessary documentation required to capitalize costs

 

Communication & administration

• Manage the team’s key communication channels, e.g. mailbox and SharePoint

• Support the team’s document management ensuring it is compliant with AZ Technology ADMS

• Point of contact for Account Managers and Service Owners regarding BMP queries

• Support pricing communication to customers

• Contribute to the BMP knowledge base

 

Project Management

• Act as project manager for ad hoc internal initiatives and coordinate activities across AZ Tech finance and business functions.

 

What you bring

 

Thorough understanding of AZ Tech governance processes and systems (e.g. ServiceNow and ARIBA)

Basic project management skills

Understanding AZ Business Cases, Provisions and DL3 processes beneficial

Experience with creation of Business Cases, project documentation and management presentations

Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel-create dashboards, pivot, financial formulas, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of SAP (SAP CO and FI, SAP BO, SAP BW)
