Job role

Digitalization, automation, and large scale transformation programs require Identity and Access Management services to be delivered with speed, consistency, and high operational quality. To support this evolution, Allianz Services is strengthening its IAM Business Operations with a dedicated focus on automation and process optimization.
The IAM Automation Expert is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing automation and optimization solutions across IAM processes and services. The role focuses on reducing manual effort, increasing transparency, and improving service scalability while ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and security requirements.
This position works closely with IAM Experts, Service Owners, Team Leaders, and Reporting teams to translate operational needs into automated solutions, dashboards, and optimized workflows. While hands on automation expertise is required, prior IAM or security experience is considered a strong advantage rather than a strict prerequisite.
Allianz Services is looking for highly motivated professionals with a strong automation and improvement mindset to help evolve IAM services into mature, scalable managed services.

 

What you will do

  • Identify repetitive, manual, or inefficient activities within IAM processes and propose automation or optimization solutions
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions supporting IAM Business Operations and Governance
  • Optimize end to end IAM workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability
  • Develop and support dashboards and automated reporting to enable KPI tracking, operational transparency, and audit readiness
  • Collaborate closely with IAM Experts, Service Owners, and Team Leaders to ensure solutions are aligned with process and control requirements
  • Support automation and workflow implementation within ServiceNow, ensuring proper integration with IAM processes
  • Ensure automation solutions comply with internal standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations
  • Support adoption of new tools, workflows, and solutions through documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Continuously evaluate existing solutions and identify opportunities for further optimization and standardization 

 

What you bring

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven experience in process optimization, automation, or continuous improvement roles
  • Hands on experience with automation tools, scripting, workflow engines, or low code / no code platforms
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow, especially workflow automation, integrations, or reporting
  • Solid understanding of process design, control points, and operational KPIs
  • Ability to translate business and operational requirements into technical or automated solutions
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong focus on value creation
  • Excellent verbal and written English required
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams 
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team. 

 

You have

  • Experience or exposure to Identity and Access Management or information security domains
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts such as access provisioning, access reviews, roles, SoD, or privileged access
  • Experience with reporting or dashboarding tools used for operational or audit purposes
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with compliance driven processes
  • Pro active, solution oriented mindset with a strong focus on simplification and automation
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of improvement initiatives
  • Certifications or willingness to pursue certifications are a plus (e.g. ServiceNow, automation, cloud, security)
