Job Role
The Information Security Expert supports the governance, compliance and assurance activities within the Allianz Services Information Security Framework. The role contributes to ensuring that Allianz Services maintains alignment with internal standards, Allianz Group requirements and applicable regulations. The Information Security Expert supports audits, self-assessments, documentation maintenance, and risk-related activities, while also contributing to broader Information Security initiatives as required.
The position is designed with flexibility to support different domains of Information Security depending on business priorities and team capacity.
What you will do
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Information Security policies, standards, functional rules and other governance documentation (e.g., Corporate Rules Book).
- Contribute to compliance activities, including internal and external audits, self-assessments and control/peer reviews.
- Support the preparation of audit materials, evidence documentation and management reporting.
- Manages communication with audit teams and defines strategies for audit defense.
- Assist in tracking/recording and monitoring remediation measures and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
- Contribute to risk assessments for services, projects, vendors, suppliers and organizational units.
- Support governance reporting and KPI monitoring (e. g., Information Security Health Indicators).
- Collaborate with local, global and cross-OE stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of security requirements.
- Identify gaps, improvement areas and process optimization opportunities within the InfoSec framework.
- Actively participate in Information Security committees and cross-functional initiatives.
- Report and escalate compliance or risk-related issues as appropriate.
What you bring
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in the Information Security governance, compliance, audit, risk or related areas.
- Strong knowledge of Information Security Management Systems and relevant industry standards, in particular ISO 27001.
- Solid understanding of Information Security, IT Security and related processes.
- Familiarity with COBIT Control Objectives.
- Experience in taking responsibility for maintaining and developing document frameworks.
- Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews or control testing activities.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Structured, pragmatic and business-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving security landscapes.
