Job role

The Performance & Rewards Expert will be part of the Allianz Services People & Culture area and will contribute to the coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of key Performance and Compensation processes at global level. The role combines strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of People & Culture and compensation processes, supporting topics such as salary reviews, bonus cycles, executive compensation, reporting and data-driven decision-making. Working closely with global and local People & Culture stakeholders, the Performance & Rewards Expert will help ensure that the processes under this area are delivered in a consistent, timely and high-quality manner, while also identifying opportunities to improve, standardize and further develop the way we support the business.

 

What you will do

  • Coordinate the annual Performance Management cycle at global level in partnership with local People & Culture stakeholders and Allianz Group responsible team, ensuring consistent execution, alignment of timelines and high-quality process delivery across locations.
  • Prepare, review and align communications related to the Performance Management process, ensuring clear, consistent and audience-appropriate messaging across the organization.
  • Coordinate and support global and local Rewards processes, including salary review, bonus cycles, compensation analyses and related reporting activities.
  • Support executive compensation activities, including analyses, reporting, governance documentation and preparation of decision-making materials.
  • Coordinate the preparation, consolidation and quality review of compensation and performance data to support business and People & Culture decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the Global Head of Rewards & Performance and the wider People & Culture community on Rewards, Compensation and Performance-related topics.
  • Prepare analyses, reports and insights to support management decisions, workforce planning and Rewards-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate the preparation of presentations, reports and materials related to Performance & Rewards topics for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Collaborate with local People & Culture teams and international stakeholders to ensure consistent, timely and high-quality delivery of Rewards and Performance processes across locations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize and enhance Performance & Rewards processes, ensuring alignment with global principles and business needs.
  • Support process documentation, governance activities, process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives related to Rewards and Performance Management.
  • Act as a trusted and reliable partner for internal stakeholders by providing accurate information, timely support and solution-oriented guidance within the area of expertise.

 

What you bring

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a similar field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, People & Culture Controlling, People & Culture Generalist or a similar role.
  • Good understanding of Performance, Compensation and People & Culture processes.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors or similar People & Culture systems is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled workplace tools and willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency, analysis, reporting and communication quality.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Comfortable working with data, reports and different stakeholders across countries and functions.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful insights.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of compensation, benefits, performance management and People analytics concepts.
  • Experience working with SuccessFactors, SAP or similar HR systems.
  • Understanding of compensation benchmarking, salary structures and market data analysis is considered an advantage.
  • Practical knowledge of AI-powered workplace tools and willingness to leverage emerging technologies, within company guidelines, to support process efficiency, reporting, communication and decision-making.
