Job role
The Planning Expert will assist the Allianz Technology Controlling community with planning and forecasting as a member of the Planning, Pricing, and Controlling Team
What will you do
Support the coordination and quality assurance of planning and forecasting processes and tools
Provide 1st level support for end users, planning & forecasting users, and power users
Validate planning and forecasting data, and perform consistency checks in the data model
Conduct regular progress tracking of the Planning and Forecasting process
Document processes and tools (user guide and “handbook”) to perform 1st level support and create a knowledge base for team members
Maintain and manage users of the AZ Tech planning and forecasting tool
Consolidate and ensure quality assurance of bottom-up plans and forecasts delivered by pillars and locations
Coach users/power users on the best practices to fulfill planning and forecasting tasks
Review user/power user tickets, perform 1st level investigation, and route further within the organization
Monitor the completion of planning steps and validate quality/YoY deltas in strong collaboration with the Functional Controlling Team
What you bring
Professional experience in Finance/Controlling area (>3 years)
University degree in Finance, Business, Management, or comparable
Profound skills in MS Office, especially Excel and VBA
Solid knowledge of controlling tools (SAP CO/OM, CO-PA, SAP BW/BO is beneficial)
Fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills would be a plus
Planning process understanding beneficial
