Job Role

 

As part of the Planning, Pricing and Controlling Team, The Planning Expert will offer support on planning and forecasting for Allianz Services.

 

What you will do

 

  • Support the coordination and quality assurance of planning and forecasting processes and tools;
  • 1st level support for end users of planning & forecasting users and power users;
  • Validation of planning and forecasting data, perform consistency checks in data model;
  • Regular progress tracking of Planning and Forecasting process;
  • Documentation of process and tools (user guide and “handbook”) to perform 1st level support and create knowledge base for team members;
  • Maintenance and user management of AZ Tech planning and forecasting tool;
  • Consolidation and quality assurance of bottom-up plans and forecast, delivered by pillars and locations;
  • Coach user/ power user on best means to fulfil planning and forecasting tasks;
  • Review user/ power user tickets and perform 1st level investigation / route further in organization;
  • Monitor completion of planning steps and validate quality / YoY deltas in strong collaboration with Functional Controlling Team.

 

What you bring

 

  • Professional experience in Finance/ Controlling area (>3 year);
  • University degree in Finance, Business, Management or comparable;
  • Profound skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Power BI/Query;
  • Solid knowledge of controlling tools (SAP CO/OM, CO-PA, SAP BW/BO, SAP Analytic Cloud is beneficial);
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. German language skills would be a plus;
  • Planning process understanding beneficial;
  • We highly welcome candidates with a genuine interest and affinity for Information Technology (IT) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), as these attributes are considered valuable assets to our team.
