Job role

The Procurement Transformation Support Manager will be a key contributor to the existing project team, focusing on collaborative efforts to drive procurement transformation initiatives. This role is integral to supporting the integration of an intake & orchestration layer, implementing autonomous sourcing solutions, and maintaining the current procurement landscape based on Ariba S2C and P2P platforms. The manager will work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure compliance, alignment, and satisfaction, fostering a collaborative environment that supports business requestor needs.
 

What you will do

•    Integration and Implementation Support: Assist in the integration and development of new solutions, ensuring they complement existing systems and processes.
•    Process Maintenance: Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of procurement processes and tools, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
•    Compliance and Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with TPRM, Compliance, Legal and other intersecting functions to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational standards and requirements.

•    Global Coordination: Participate in global project implementation efforts, supporting local application of centrally defined procurement rules.
•    Data Quality Improvement: Enhance procurement-related data availability and quality to support informed decision-making.
•    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project team to support procurement transformation efforts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team.

 

What you bring

•    Degree in computer science, IT, industrial engineering or economics/business administration with focus on process management
•    Experience in designing best-in-class procurement processes (Adonis)
•    Experience in our core procurement platforms (Ariba, SAP MM/FI), experience in further state-of-the-art procurement solutions (i.e. Orchestration Layer, Autonomous Sourcing) in the existing ecosystem are a plus
•      3-5 years of related experience
•    Business fluent in English, additional language skills (especially German) are a plus
•    Project management skills (ideally supplemented with relevant certifications e.g. PRINCE II, PMP etc.)

• Ability to translate business objectives in existing or new, innovative technical solutions
• Proven ability to participate in / lead change management programs
• Knowledge in MS Office (in particular MS Excel), knowledge in BI tools is a plus
• Strong IT affinity complemented with a “hands-on” mentality
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex challenges and search for new solutions outside of traditional approach
• Excellent team player with ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical communities
• Intercultural work experience
• Strong service and customer orientation
• Well versed in presentation techniques
