Job Role

Allianz is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead IT transformation projects and initiatives across the group. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker capable of collaborating effectively with Operating Entities (OEs) to develop comprehensive plans and business cases. The successful candidate will ensure seamless execution, provide insightful progress tracking, and deliver detailed reports to the board, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and risks.

What will you do

• Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate and drive IT transformation initiatives across the Allianz group.
• Collaborate closely with each Operating Entity to craft strategic plans and business cases that align with group-wide IT transformation objectives.
• Implement rigorous tracking mechanisms to monitor project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports to the board, offering insights into achievements, challenges, and potential risks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to enhance collaboration and communication.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven at least 5 years of experience managing initiatives in IT within large, multinational corporations.
• Demonstrated capability in reporting to C-level executives, with a focus on strategic insights.
• Proficiency in English; German or other language skills are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture and systems integration, enabling effective communication with technical teams.
