Job role
Acts as a key delivery role within the Business Master Platform (BMP) program, supporting global and local rollout initiatives across Allianz entities. The role is responsible for translating business needs into clear, structured, and traceable requirements that enable efficient and high‑quality delivery within agile squads.
What you will do
- Analyze, document, and validate business requirements for BMP initiatives, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability from business need to delivery outcome.
- Translate business processes into structured artefacts, including AS‑IS / TO‑BE process models, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria, aligned with Allianz standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and readiness for agile delivery.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, requirement review sessions, and stakeholder alignments across business, operations, and IT teams.
- Ensure end‑to‑end traceability of requirements through design, development, testing, and release, supporting audit and compliance needs.
- Work with development, testing, and architecture teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and alignment with BMP assets and integrations.
- Support system and user acceptance testing by preparing test scenarios, clarifying requirements, and assisting stakeholders during validation activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification, and automation within BMP-enabled business processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices, templates, and standards within Operations Engineering & Transformation.
What you bring
- 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis roles, with strong exposure to insurance transformation initiatives and complex delivery environments.
- Proven hands‑on experience in requirements engineering, including user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and end‑to‑end traceability within agile delivery frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of core insurance domains (e.g. Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Payments) and end‑to‑end customer journeys.
- Practical experience with BMP and related platforms or assets (e.g. APL, ABS, Guidewire, APIs, integrations), or equivalent core insurance solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to model business processes and translate business needs into delivery‑ready requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, operations, and IT teams in a global setup. You have
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and end‑to‑end traceability in complex transformation programs.
- Proven ability to model business processes and solutions using standard techniques and tools.
- Solid agile delivery skills, with hands‑on experience working in Scrum or SAFe environments and supporting backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
- Effective stakeholder management and facilitation skills, enabling collaboration across business, operations, and IT teams at multiple levels.
- Good understanding of core insurance platforms and integrations (e.g. BMP, ABS, APIs) and their impact on underwriting, claims, and pricing processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills, with a quality‑focused mindset and the ability to work independently in a global setup.
