In the IT area for insurance technology, we develop the computing cores for modern insurance products in close cooperation with colleagues from the Allianz Deutschland Group. The calculation cores are the technological basis for controlling the underwriting processes during the life cycle of a contract - from application to contract adjustment to claims payment.

What you do

• Use programming languages such as Java and C/C++, as well as many other standard tools.
• Co-design, take responsibility and participate within an agile team that makes iterative learning a priority.
• Further develop our calculation kernels and accounting systems.
• Design and implement high-quality software solutions using your expertise in  application development 
• Collaborate within agile teams, adapt to dynamic work environments and focus on delivering business value through large-scale applications, particularly in insurance use-cases.
• Your strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities will drive project success.

What you bring

• Completed studies in computer science or mathematics and proficiency in application development in either JAVA or C/C++
• Strong analytical skills to quickly grasp, analyze and precisely formulate complex issues, paired with a strong solution orientation.
• Excellent teamwork and social skills, with good personal presentation, especially in client interactions.
• German and English language skills.
• Experience with or willingness to learn programming with Java, C/C++  and tools / platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Jenkins, Github, CI/CD tools and SQL.
