What you do
- Act as expert support in the operations of DW/BI solutions
- Actively drive standardization and optimization of operation activities
- Provide production support for data pipelines, working with the platform team, the data suppliers and customers
- Verification of deployment packages and performance of deployment in integration and production environments
- Monitor, analyze and report on infrastructure resource requirements and performance issues
- Improve the process description and keep project documentation up-to-date
- Enhance program codes and the DevOps automation code (Shell, Groovy, Helm charts, …)
- Work with the business analysts to fully understand the business requirements for change requests and assure that the deliverables are fulfilling these
What you bring
- Proficiency in shell scripting languages like Bash, Python, Groovy, and Helm chart, with a solid understanding of UNIX permissions.
- Skilled in script log file analysis and scheduling mechanisms, with experience in Kubernetes ecosystem and container orchestration platforms.
- Expertise in Spark and ElasticSearch cluster administration, including node management, resource allocation, performance analysis, and health monitoring using tools like Kibana or Grafana.
- Familiarity with CICD build tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Helm, with a focus on continuous improvement of deployment processes.
- Strong analytical skills in SQL queries and Oracle/PostgreSQL administration, along with knowledge of reporting tools like Microstrategy or PowerBI.
- Ability to understand and analyze Scala program code running on Spark, including Scala stack traces, and REST/API mechanisms for job management.
- Self-driven with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, working closely with business analysts, development, and operation teams;
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
