At the same time, regulatory requirements for data handling are increasing. Technological advancements are driving companies to constantly develop and professionalize their data capabilities.

In this context, the Tribe Data Insights & Analytics plays a central role, establishing the foundation with cross-functional data architectures for implementing the customer-centric strategy within the Allianz companies in Germany.

In the Team Customer Data team, we work on the digital representation of our customers. With our data products, we build the foundation for advanced analytics applications, strategic decisions, and personalized interactions.

What you do

 

  • You play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and models that drive insights and decision-making.
  • Operate and maintain data marts in close collaboration with domain experts and prepare the Oracle systems for migration to dbt and snowflake.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Implement data transformation processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
  • Optimize database performance and query execution, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and infrastructure.
  • Develop documentation and provide training to team members on data product functionalities and best practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and analytics technologies 

 

What you bring

 

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or a comparable qualification through professional experience.
  • You bring proven experience in the design, development and operation of complex data warehouse environments containing cross-functional business data
  • You bring strong SQL skills and experience with data transformation and ETL processes.
  • You are experienced with dbt and Snowflake, including building and optimizing data models and pipelines.
  • You are familiar with cloud data platforms and ecosystem tools.
  • You possess strong teamwork and communication skills, a goal-oriented and independent work style with awareness for high quality and customer orientation.
  • You enjoy working in an agile team and are committed to continuous development.
  • You communicate confidently in English; basic knowledge of German is a plus
  • You are passionate about creating data-driven solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
