In the IT area for insurance technology, we develop the computing cores for modern insurance products in close cooperation with colleagues from the Allianz Deutschland Group. The calculation cores are the technological basis for controlling the underwriting processes during the life cycle of a contract - from application to contract adjustment to claims payment. For implementation, we use the programming languages C/C++ and in some cases Java, as well as many other standard tools. We are a completely agile unit in which participation, co-design, personal responsibility and iterative learning are very important.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for this IT area to further develop our computing cores and operate the systems.

What you do:

- Expansion and further development of our cloud-based applications with the professional use of modern technologies

- Operation and optimization of the infrastructure we use

- Advice, support and very close and intensive exchange with the users in the specialist departments and the other Allianz units

- Regular exchange with colleagues in the infrastructure area in order to coordinate the latest technologies and trends, ensure stable operation and meet the high security and data protection requirements of a leading international insurance company  

- Responsible and committed cooperation in upcoming health and property insurance projects

What you need:

• Programming & IDEs: Java (Eclipse), C/C++ (Visual Studio)
• Build & Version Control: Apache Maven, Git, GitHub, Jenkins
• Containerization & Cloud: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (EKS, RDS)
• Tools & Scripting: Linux shell scripting, Perl, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence
• Databases & Monitoring: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Dynatrace, Grafana
