About the Job:
As a Backend Developer, you will focus on enhancing and managing the claims workflow within the Allianz Expert Business System (Airwave), specifically working with the A3K Framework. You will play a crucial role in developing robust backend solutions that support the business processes and ensure seamless integration with various systems. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

What You Do:

  • Develop and enhance backend solutions for the Allianz Expert Business System using Java 17+.
  • Manage and optimize the claims workflow within the A3K Framework.
  • Implement best practices in REST, SOAP, JSON, YAML, and XML for seamless integration.
  • Utilize Git/Github for version control and Docker for containerization.
  • Work with SQL databases (DB2, Postgres) to manage and manipulate data.
  • Leverage CoPilot/Claude Code for code assistance and Maven for project management.
  • Deploy applications using Kubernetes/AWS and automate processes with Jenkins/Github Actions/Nexus.
  • Use development tools such as Eclipse and manage authentication with Keycloak.
  • Monitor application performance using Dynatrace and manage tasks with Jira/Confluence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Proficiency in Java 17+ for backend development.
  • Strong understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, YAML, and XML.
  • Familiarity with Git/Github, Docker, SQL (DB2, Postgres), and CoPilot/Claude Code.
  • Knowledge of Maven, Kubernetes/AWS, Jenkins/Github Actions/Nexus.
  • Experience with development tools such as Eclipse and Keycloak.
  • Ability to monitor application performance using Dynatrace and manage tasks with Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience with A3K Framework, Airwave, and CISL API.
  • Agile way of working and English proficiency at B2 level.
  • Nice to have: German language skills.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
