About the Job

The Data Platforms, Products & Analytics (DPPA) department is responsible within Allianz Technology SE to drive the implementation of the Data Strategy and to deliver modular and reusable Data Solutions to Allianz entities (OE) worldwide, leveraging synergies of skills, scope, and resources.

As the DPPA unit is currently expanding globally, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly dynamic, international and rapidly growing team of DPPA project/service managers, engineers, developers, and architects. What you do

Automate cloud resource management using Terraform (Golang) and Ansible (Python) to ensure consistent environments.
Implement Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment of Golang and Python applications, including Docker image building.
Dockerize Golang and Python applications, managing containers with Kubernetes and leveraging Golang's efficiency for microservices.
Use Prometheus, Grafana, and Python for monitoring, data analysis, and visualization, while employing Golang for building monitoring agents.
Ensure server configuration consistency with Ansible and develop serverless functions using Golang or Python, breaking applications into microservices.
Manage Golang and Python code with Git repositories, ensuring code quality and adherence to DevOps principles through code reviews.
Encourage collaboration among DevOps engineers, developers, and operations teams, assuming technical leadership for projects and staying updated with Golang and Python ecosystems.

What you bring

University degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience in geospatial solutions would be beneficial.
Proficient in Golang , Python and scripting languages with 5+ years of experience in various technologies and a keen interest in exploring new ones.
Infrastructure as Code, automation, containers and container orchestration/kubernetes. A solid background in security, operating on-prem/cloud and hybrid environments and familiarity with Unix OS is necessary.
Skilled in DevOps/DevSecOps, Systems Architecture and networking. Familiarity with automation tools like terraform, ansible and container orchestration tools is expected.
Understanding of cloud technologies, architectures, serverless, micro-functionality and cloud platforms. Being knowledgeable in SQL and NoSQL databases and monitoring technologies is important.
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken as well as an analytical and solution-oriented approach.
