About the Job

As an Airwave Java Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and managing the claims workflow within the Allianz Expert Business System (Airwave), specifically working with the A3K Framework. Your expertise in backend development will be essential in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the system, allowing for seamless operations and improved user experience. This position provides a chance to contribute significantly to the evolution of Allianz Technology, where innovation and excellence are at the forefront of our mission. 

 

What You Do

  • Focus on backend development for the Allianz Expert Business System (Airwave).
  • Enhance and manage the claims workflow within the Allianz Expert Business System.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of components.
  • Contribute to the migration processes and operation of existing systems during transition phases. 

 

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Java 17+ and backend technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, YAML, XML.
  • Familiarity with Git/Github, Docker, SQL (DB2, Postgres), CoPilot/Claude Code, Maven, Kubernetes/AWS, Jenkins/Github Actions/Nexus.
  • Experience with development environments like Eclipse.
  • Knowledge of Keycloak, Dynatrace, A3K Framework, Airwave, CISL API, Jira/Confluence.
  • An agile mindset with experience in Agile methodologies and English proficiency at B2 level. 
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use. 
  • German language skills are an advantage.
