About the Job
The Local Information Security Officer (LISO) at Allianz Technology plays a vital role within the Allianz Technology’s CISO area. The LISO represents our global Business and Regional Information Security Team and is locally responsible for oversight of the related ISMS activities, risk identification and assessment, prevention and advice to local management as well as to our Operating Entities – our closest customers - with respect to the Information Security. In his/her function, the LISO is instrumental in building up and integrating IS assurance capabilities.
What you do
- Oversee the implementation of and compliance with Allianz Technology IS framework, regulatory requirements and industry security standards in all Allianz Technology services and in projects.
- Ensure transparency and visibility of Information Security at local executive body / management team, secure buy-in for and prioritization of any remediation actions
- Closely cooperate with your peers locally (Heads of IT/Operations) and globally (Allianz Technology CISO team)
- Serve as central contact person for information security-related matters for the location, including interfaces to business, partners, customers and other safeguarding functions
- Build and promote Information Security awareness locally, fostering a strong security culture across the organization
- Serve as single point of contact for our internal customers (Operating Entities): build relationships with OE CISO / IT representatives, support OE audit requests and IS activities, provide OE with relevant information
- Run local security boards, meetings and ensure proper upstream reporting towards central teams
- Enforce regulatory and corporate compliance in the information security area
- Support the annual compliance reporting process for their area of responsibility and ensuring timely delivery of results
- Coordinate information security-related activities of their area of responsibility and provide information as necessary to relevant control functions, in particular Risk, Data Privacy, Compliance and Internal Audit
- Systematically assess the effectiveness of security controls in all services provided by Allianz Technology locally, its partners and third-party providers.
- Assess and address deviations from security policies and contractual security provisions, as well as developing effective strategies to mitigate identified information security risks.
- Regularly align with and contribute to the global Allianz Technology ISO community.
What you bring
- University degree in computer science, IT auditing, cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience.
- Long track record of experience in IT, 5 years+ experience in Information Security related fields and/or risk management or IT audit.
- Sound hands-on knowledge of IT security technology, architecture and processes and profound knowledge of information security management systems and relevant industry standards and control frameworks (in particular NIST CRF, ISF SoGP, ISO270xx, COBIT2019); local regulatory standards.
- Professional experience with supplier management (including Cloud providers), IT outsourcing and relevant control frameworks.
- Ability to cope with high workload, and being able to exercise good levels of independence, judgment and initiative.
- Proficient in English and, preferably, the local language.
- Desirable certifications: CEH/CISM/CISSP/CRISC; ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
