Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the understanding, mapping, and integration of business models and processes as use-cases, streams, and domains up to the EPIC level. The Senior Business Analyst will ensure seamless transitions and maximize project benefits, contributing to the strategic alignment of the ALEx/MIS project with our long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding New Use-Cases: Manage the understanding, mapping, and integration of business models and processes, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing project benefits.
- Strategic Integration: Oversee the integration of AI-driven components and processes to drive innovation, enhance decision-making capabilities, and support platform evolution.
- Technical Skills: Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
- Internal Process Setup: Support internal process improvements such as demand, release, change, and quality management to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Enhanced Collaboration: Facilitate better collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and business relevant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and coordination to other business analysts.
- Continuously work on internal business analysis process improvements.
- Participate in product strategy formation and solution design.
- Manage stakeholder expectations.
- Responsible for EPIC Definition of Ready (DoR).
- Ensure that requested features align with the product’s evolving business goals.
- Support implementation teams for various ALEx/MIS projects.
- Deliver tasks in a timely and quality manner as directed by the Line Manager and/or Content Manager.
Professional Requirements:
- Ability to work in an agile environment.
- Experience in Banking, Finance, or Insurance is required.
- Experience in Re-insurance & Catastrophe is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience with programming languages and database technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to manage customers in a dynamically changing environment.
- Proficient in understanding complex business scenarios using professional analytical skills.
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- English language proficiency is required; German language skills are a plus.
- Self-driven and autonomous, with the ability to collaborate closely with other business analysts, architects, and development teams.
- Experience dealing with complex systems: real-time, operational, analytical.
- Demonstrated experience with software development life cycle methodologies, including agile.
- Experience in fast-paced environments demanding effective delivery under tight timelines.
