About the Job:

Are you passionate about Linux, DevOps, and cutting-edge enterprise solutions? Join our dynamic team as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and operational excellence. In this role, you'll not only manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Micro Focus Enterprise Batch platform on Linux and Kubernetes but also actively contribute to our DevOps initiatives. What You Do:

• Install, configure, and maintain Micro Focus Enterprise Server on Linux systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support enterprise server operations.
• Leverage DevOps practices to enhance automation, scalability, and efficiency across the infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and AWX to streamline application deployment.
• Use Ansible and Terraform to automate server configuration management and ensure consistency across environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of enterprise servers.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate and deploy applications seamlessly.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard systems.
• Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior administrators and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
• Participate in on-call rotations to address system emergencies and ensure business continuity.
• Document system configurations, processes, and changes to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with Linux, ideally in enterprise-level environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in managing AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), LFCS (Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with additional configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef).
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
