About the Job
As Service Manager ABS Germany in the context Project Management you will strengthen the Service Management Team that is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the major service "ABS Germany" along the principles and guidelines of Service Management within Allianz Technology.
Following the strategic direction of Allianz Group to implement the BMP (Business Master Platform) and the Allianz Customer Model (ACM), as well as the inclusion of the Allianz Technology Global Delivery Model, you will support the further development of the existing services along the needs and requirements of the respective Allianz entities (e.g. integration of further group standards).
As Service Manager you will work hand in hand with the respective Delivery Units, internal/ external providers, as well as in an international context with highly committed teams.
Strong IT Service/ Project Management knowledge to understand the existing group standards and technical market developments as well as the confident interaction with different IT stakeholders complete your professional skills and form the basis for a successful collaboration.
What you do
- Ongoing optimization of service definitions and service descriptions, service onboarding and lifecycle management.
- Negotiation of service level agreements with customers and providers and monitoring of service delivery performance metrics
- Proactive support of the business unit and customers to ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Operational and coordinating support for urgent service issues (e.g., support for Incident coordination)
- Planning and support of change management in coordination with platform management
- operation and continuous development of license management
- Technical support and monitoring in the newly introduced service-oriented delivery, as well as the development of guidelines with regard to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
What you bring
- Completed studies (computer science, business informatics or mathematics) or comparable education
- German and English fluently spoken and written
- More than 5 years of practical experience in IT Service/ Project Management (ideally software development, infrastructure), as well as proven skills in managing projects
- Proven experience in Change Management and managing Transformation projects
- ITIL Foundation certification, plus others is an advantage
- Proactive, structured and independent working style as well as first leadership experience, especially in terms of decision making skills and assertiveness
- Experience with ServiceNow as a ticket and incident management system is an advantage
